Wrong Tokyo Green
Wrong Tokyo Green

No … not Tokyo Green the rapper (Honestly never heard of the guy, just happened to Google him).

We talking about the kinda GREEN that makes jerkbag cappers on X use tons of 💰💰🐐💎🐐💎✅✅✅💵💵🔥🔥 emojis in their posts. (To be fair I love me a 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ emoji for sure)

Let me just say … I am VERY happy with our little two day mini peek into the season …

Huzzah money!
Huzzah money!

Up 2.4 units when we don’t even have our ideal slate of games and matchups? Hell yeah I’ll take that!!!

Here’s some things we learned …

Tommy Edman is a God

Seriously … start the Man Crush vibes now. The guy delivered two days in a row and my only regret is I didn’t trust him for a HR in game 2.

WHY THIS MATTERS: This is one where the numbers don’t lie. When we are nailing our top pick of the day, that’s where we want to live as much as possible. Makes me look good and makes you money. Yes please!

Teoscar Hernandez sucked a fatty

Oooof … two days of garbage from Mr. Teo.

WHY THIS MATTERS: During the season … especially once we are 4-6 weeks into the season … recent performance will play a BIG part in what we do. Hernandez is clearly cold right now, but we don’t know that because we have no data that shows it.

But just know this … Ol’ Plunder makes his picks based on when the numbers look good AND the player has been performing well recently. We don’t do this whole “this guy is due” type crap around here. We let other people guess on that … we just play what works.

Home runs could’ve been big

Missed both Ohtani and Edman by a day.

WHY THIS MATTERS: I’m still trying to figure out the right mix of how much money we lay out there for various plays. I personally hate winning the top plays, but then pissing away our profits chasing a bunch of HR bets, so that’s why I didn’t use Edman or Ohtani HR plays on day 2.

Reality is, I need to trust our process, especially on the top plays. Do the thing and all the green thingies will follow.

All in all I am REALLY happy with how the Tokyo Series panned out and cannot WAIT for the season to start. In the meantime, if you like this content please do me the favor of spreading the word to your friends. I would love to grow this community throughout the season and help as many people CASH as possible. Let’s go!!
